Hi, I'm Mel, the proud Director of the ELM Business.
I started out in the bookkeeping world 22 years ago by way of creating capacity for balance in life with a young growing family. Prior to that, I had many years of experience in Business Administration Management. I am now a registered BAS Agent with a Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, AFTRS Production Accounting Certificate, MYOB & XERO Partner, and a business owner.
Working as a sole trader made sense in that it allowed me a flexible work/life balance.
Over time I found that I loved helping people and really enjoyed assisting businesses, set up and maintain good accounting practices.
With the advent of GST and BAS reporting, many small businesses were struggling and welcomed the help.
My mantra is to offer the help you need and want, to assist you in achieving control over your business accounting, reporting, and compliance.
Knowing the facts and being informed with accurate data allows a business owner to weather any storm.
