With over two decades of experience in bookkeeping and business administration management, I'm Mel Hevey, the passionate Director of ELM Business Support Services
My journey began 25 years ago when I sought to balance my professional aspirations with the demands of raising a young family. This led me to the world of bookkeeping, where I discovered my passion for helping businesses thrive through effective accounts management.
As a registered BAS Agent, I hold a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, an AFTRS Production Accounting Certificate, and am a certified XERO and MYOB partner. My expertise spans across various aspects of business accounts and financial management, from set-up and training to maintenance of robust bookkeeping and accounting practices. It also includes working in TV and Movies. I handled the production accounts for the children's adventure animation My Freaky Family as well as the Netflix children's series, Alien TV.
At ELM, our mission is to empower businesses with the accurate financial knowledge and tools they need to succeed. We believe that accurate data and informed decision-making are key to weathering any business challenge.
